Movie review: pay it forward

Pay It Forward is a drama/romance movie, filmed in the year 2000 in Las Vegas. The duration of the movie is 123 minutes. It was written as a book by Catherine Ryan Hyde. Leslie Dixon wrote the screen play and the director was Mimi Leder. The main actors in Pay It Forward are Haley Joel Osment (Trevor), Helen Hunt (mother of Trevor) and Kevin Spacey (Eugene the professor).
The movie is about a little boy that had a really big assignment. He had to come up with an idea to change the world. The teacher didn’t really expect the students to change the world but Trevor (the little boy) took it really seriously. He wants to help people that need it and then, they would have to pay it forward. Through the movie, we discover the hard life of the little boy from his alcoholic mother to his absent father.
In my opinion, this movie was really good. It was realistic and it contains facts that happen frequently in life. We could understand well the feeling of the actors because they acted well and the way they spoke was clear and they used varied sentences. The music was always the same but it was ok because it was appropriate. We really get into the movie because the events are unpredictable and realistic. I think the structure of the movie was good because we understand the facts and the ideas really well. The movie generated a lot of emotions because its facts that we can understand we know it happens often in life. I also think it is a good movie because it’s good for all ages. Children can like it as much as adults or old people. I would recommend it to boys or girls of any ages.

Poem

I was standing in the dark,
Dying from sickness,
Waiting for the spark,
The spark of brightness,

I see the light,
I'm about to die,
Someone tells me to continue to fight,
I open my eyes and see the blue sky,

Life is beautiful,
I'm not ready to leave,
Don't forget, always believe.

LOL

Canada's Wonderland

Next weekend, on sunday, we are going to Canada's Wonderland. I have been there once before and I really liked it. It is a really nice place where there is always a lot of people of all ages. The kids can do family rides that are small and the older person that like strong emotion can do thrill rides.
My favorite rollercoaster is the Behemoth. It is the same one as Goliath at La Ronde. The ride goes up to 125 km/h, it lasts 3 minutes and 12 secondes. The first drop towers at 230 feet (70.1M), it's always scary when we are going up and it drops but it's great. I think it's the best rollercoaster because it is really intense and fun. When you finish I finish the ride, I always want to do it again. Don't wait, DO IT!

rafting

I did white water rafting with explore last Sunday. First, we arrived and there was food for us so we ate lunch. It was really good. Then we had 1 hour and a half free so we could play ping pong or volley ball or go swim in a beautiful lake. Then we went in rafting for about 3 hours. It was really fun and I think it's something everybody should do at least once in their life. First of all it's fun but also it's a sport so it's good for our health. We worked hard with our muscles to row the raft and I spent the whole day outside and I worked hard so at the end of the day I feel tired and it’s a good feeling to have. It's also a good place to be with your friends and when we are doing this activity, you don't have your cell phone so it's a great time to communicate and enjoy the nature. Finally, it's the perfect activity for everybody that likes strong emotion because you could fell out of the raft. It’s also perfect to enjoy the nature and if you like swimming, you will like this for sure.

Parliement of Ottawa

The parliement of OttawaIt was built from 1859 to 1876. They decided to built it there because it is between Quebec and Ontario. I think it is one of the most beautiful building in this city. The first time I saw the building, I was really impressed by it because it is a magestic monument. The little flowers on the front of it are beautiful.
It is fun to go in front of the parliement and sit on the grass just to relax. A lot of people go there to play sports like football. On saturday, we can also see a show of people wearing big black had and a red suit.
During the evening, we can also see Mosaika. It's a sound and light show that tells the story of Canada. It is set against the spectacular backdrop of Parliament Hill. The show bigins at 10 o'clock and every evenings, there are a lot of people who wants to see the Mosaika.
This building is art because someone designed. Everybody that come visit Ottawa wants to see this monument because it's something beautiful and it's artistic.

Ottawa

One week after school finished, it was already time to come to Ottawa to learn english. I was excited but stress at the same time. The first day, I could feel the excitment and the nervousity at the same time in the school. I heard every one happy to talk to other students and noticing that they are not the only ones who do not know anyone. I arrive in that big city that I don't know at all.
The second day, my host family took the bus with me to show me wich bus I should take and where I have to stop to change bus. After the school, I have to come back by myself  but I'm not sure if I will find my way back home.
I took the bus to go to a station and then I had to take an other one to go home. I took the right bus but in the wrong way so I was going down town. When I realized my mistake, I got out of the bus, crossed the street and took the right bus. I missed my stop so I had to walk about 15 minutes to come back home.
Now I know witch bus to take, I will never get lost again. I can enjoy every moments that I will pass here and I will have fun with friends.
